Barca GU11 tallied their third and fourth win of the season, a total team effort featuring shut down defensive play and dynamic goal scoring.  On Saturday, Valley United Donald played host and witnessed Barca sneak away with a 1-0 win on an Emily Rosenthal (#24) goal and a smothering defensive performance.

On Sunday, Coach Stacey Rodwell tinkered with her starting lineup and her substitution sequence, bringing in a fresh Bethanie Giniewicz (#18) off the bench with 10 minutes left in the half.  Bethanie took advantage of a tired Crown City United defense and netted the only goal of the game unassisted, keeping the ball close to her feet while maneuvering around the defensive AND also maneuvering the defense around!   Luli Harrison (#11) also came off the bench like a lightning bolt, controlling the play in her forward right position through and around the defense with confidence.
