Barcelona SC Blue GU11 continued their winning streak with Saturdays decisive 8-0 victory over visiting team CVU White. The girls are now 4-0 for the season, with 28 goals scored and only two goals against.

 

The synergy and chemistry of the squad was in full swing, with the girls executing key elements of great soccer - The combination of ball control, accurate passing and pure aggression paid off as the team earned their third consecutive shutout. The relentless forwards and midfielders kept the ball up front and cashed in on nearly all their scoring opportunities, supported by a determined wall of defense that held the opposition to only two shots on goal.

 

A comfortable 8-0 lead allowed coach Melissa Fernandez to shuffle the deck for the last five minutes of the game, playing the regular goalie up front while letting a midfielder get a taste of the keeper position.
