Barca BU11's win on the Sand
Jun 30 2008 - Dave Nelson
North Huntington Beach Sand Soccer Tournament June 28-29
In a very challenging new format for the team it was so impressive to see the boys come together for an overall victory. In four tough matches (8-0, 1-2, 3-1, 3-0) they gave up only 3 opposing goals, and had two shut-outs!
"We had a very intense weekend and we learned a lot as a team, I'm very proud of them"!!!

Our seventh annual pre-season Team Training Camp will be held from August 18 to 21 at Calabasas High School. In addition to the technical and tactical training our players have a great opportunity for team bonding with fellow players and coaches. The Team Training camp runs from 9am to 3pm followed by one hour of swimming time from 3pm to 4pm daily for the first three days. This year we have added an exciting visit to the Home Depot Centre on the afternoon of Thursday August 21. The kids will participate in a skills clinic at the Home Depot Centre. The four day camp will culminate by attending the evening game featuring the Galaxy vs. Chicago Fire.
