Welcome to another year of Barcelona California, our eighth as a competitive soccer Club. The 2009/10 Season is finally here and with the Coast Soccer League (“CSL”) team and club registration deadline less than 30 days away, it is time for individual player registration for selection consideration to one of our current or new teams.

Please use the 'Register Now' button or the link below to register your new or returning player with Barcelona California Soccer Club, this allows us to better communicate with parents, players and coaches. 

Once you have registered your player you can click the 'Log In' button on the left of this page and then select the 'Player' log in (do not select registration again). There you can edit your information and make payments.

After registration you can use the 'Log In' button.

Then, Please refer to the 'Registration Documents' tab, on the left side of this home page and follow the instructions as laid out in the first document listed and labeled as "2009 Registration Procedure". Both paper and electronic registrations must be completed!

We will likely have teams competing in the following age groups:
GIRLS (G) BOYS (B) GU10, BU10, GU11, BU11, GU12, BU12, GU13, BU13, BU14, GU15, BU15, GU16

BU14s Win Santa Barbara Spring Cup!

Battling wind and rain, and formidable opposition, the BU14s continued their winning ways, notching their second tournament win of the year, taking first place at the Santa Barbara Spring Cup on March 21st and 22nd.

Barca BU11s Advance in State Cup!

Under sunny skies in Lancaster on Saturday (Feb. 14th), our BU11's defeated the Real SoCal Blues (going Silver Elite) 2-1 to advance to the Round of 32 in State Cup. Barca jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, until RSC scored the equalizer in the second half of regulation. The game advanced to two 10-minute overtime periods, with Barca scoring the winning goal late in the second overtime period.

Sunday morning the boys played the Fullerton Rangers White team (going Gold) to a closely fought 2-1 defeat. The Rangers' scored the winning goal with just minutes left in regulation play.

Congratulations to the team and Coach JR Lobo for a fantastic season and post-season play!

Barca B11s heading to Silver!

In the recent Nike Copa Real tournament (January 17-18, 2009), the boys played in a five-team flight that included two teams advancing to Silver Elite and two teams advancing to Gold next year. The Barca BU11's finished with two wins and two losses in this very competitive division, allowing a total of only four goals over the weekend.

Players who are prepared for Silver-level competition and are interested in trying out for the team should contact Coach JR Lobo at (818) 599-9158.

BU 14s Win Winter Eagles Classic!

Apparently the BU14s made a New Year's Resolution to win more tournaments, because at the first tournament of the year, facing formidable opposition, the BU14s won the Eagles Winter Classic on January 10 and 11.
